A new desktop game store is coming to Mahomet’s main street.

Andrew Clodfelter said he plans to open RadLad Games on August 21st at 415 E. Main St.

Among the things he plans to sell are board games, trading card games, role-playing games, miniatures, dice and toys. He will also have space for people to play games in the store.

Clodfelter was involved in sales and claim insurance, but he said he had been saving for years to open the store.

He planned his store with Monticello in mind, but he said he found a suitable property in Mahomet.

He will be open Tuesday to Thursday from 3 pm to 9 pm, Friday from 3 pm to 10 pm, Saturday from noon to 10 pm, and Sunday afternoon tentatively for several hours.

The new store continues the previous space of Revolve Hair Studio, which has moved to the new strip center at 604 E. Main St.

Fallon Meyer, who co-owns the salon with her sister Keila Ackley, said the salon needed more space. They also added a clothing boutique.

Traveling with them is a sister-run brush and bronze parlor spray tanning, Meyer said.

The salon opened in a new location last week, and there will be a grand opening within a few weeks, Maier said.

Urbana Holistic Healer

U 1210E. Main St. PureBeing, a new group of holistic healers in Tokyo, will open its grand opening on September 12th from 1pm to 5pm.

Pure Being brings together Lisa Haake, Sarah Reynertson and Amy Wyatt.

Harke operates Lisa Harke Therapy, offering holistic psychotherapy, nutritional interventions, dosing and yoga therapies.

Reinertson, a licensed clinical professional counselor, operates a Sara Reinertson counseling service. She offers holistic psychotherapy, aromatherapy and Reiki energy healing.

Wyatt operates the Vital Flow CU. She offers massage and hoop dance therapies.

“It’s the center of healing and growth,” Reinertson said. “There are beautiful spaces in the back, including four offices, a practice space for classes and groups, a full kitchen, two bathrooms, a changing room, and a backyard space that offers outdoor yoga and food dance classes. Will continue to grow the herb garden. “

McDonald’s new look

2909 W. Kirby Ave., C’s Champaign McDonald’s is undergoing a major remodeling, but the drive-through remains open.

Franchise owner Brad Davis said the project will change the look of the roof and add a double drive-through. Indoors, the lobby has been refurbished from floor to ceiling with all new seating and new children’s playset.

According to Davis, he hopes to complete the work by the end of August.
